Porteño
Porteño is the word used for the people of Buenos Aires. They are a handsome and cultured breed. This is a picture of the statue that sits in the middle of the park which our flat overlooks.
I don´t know what it means but I think it has something to do with being porteño.

More likely it means something about being Roman, since it is the she wolf that breast fed Romulus and Remus, the legendary founders of Rome.
And some of us porteños harbour the fantasy of being Italians!
