Puente Alsina

This is the colonial facade of an old iron bridge that links the federal capital with some of Buenos Aires´ poorer provinces. It´s a very pretty bridge but the smell is intolerable as one crosses. It is like the vile stench of miasma. It goes over the Riochuelo, a rivulette of the river Plate which has been incredibly polluted by the factories that run along it.
